For more than a year, the US Department of Defense has been testing a secret device that could be the cause of “Havana Syndrome,” a series of mysterious illnesses among American spies, diplomats and the military. It revealed components of Russian production.
The Pentagon has bought a device for a lot of money that could solve the mystery of the incidents, but there are also doubts.
In 2017, reports emerged of health problems, including hearing loss and brain damage, among U.S. and Canadian embassy staff in Havana, Cuba. It has been reported that the U.S. government secretly acquired a device that may be related to this problem, also known as "Havana Syndrome."
