The number of patients with advanced chronic kidney disease (CRD) receiving dialysis or kidney transplantation treatment in Spain was 68,403 in 2024, which means that the figure increased by 855 patients compared to the previous year, according to provisional data from the Spanish Registry of Dialysis and Transplantation (REDYT), promoted by the Spanish Society of Nephrology (SEN) and the National Organization of Transplants (ONT).
