The government voted to lend one hundred thousand tons of oil from state material reserves to PKN Orlen, which operates a refinery in Kralupy nad Vltavou. At the same time, the cabinet is preparing to cap the margins of fuel sellers and reduce excise taxes on gasoline and diesel, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) announced after Monday's meeting.
The state will lend domestic refineries one hundred thousand tons of oil from its emergency reserves. The reason is the limitation of supplies to the IKL/TAL oil pipeline. The government approved it on Monday, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) said at a press conference. According to the State Material Reserves Administration (SSHR), the supply of fuel to the Czech market continues to function normally and there is enough fuel.
