Most of the amendments are of an editorial and ordering nature; two substantive amendments – also accepted by the Ministry of National Defence – were made after discussion with representatives of the Polish Allotment Gardeners Association participating in the work of the Sejm and Senate committees and refer to situations where allotment gardens are to be a place of investment or are located in a protection zone adjacent to such an area.
On Thursday, the Senate passed, with amendments, a special bill simplifying procedures for key investments related to national defense. All 83 senators present voted in favor of the bill. The bill will now return to the Sejm.
