Lockheed Martin delivers second F-16 Block 70 fighter jet to Bulgarian Air Force
It was welcomed by Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov, Air Force Commander Major General Nikolay Rusev, and Colonel Metodi Orlov, Commander of the Third Air Base. The newly arrived jet is a single-seat combat aircraft with tail number 313. According to the Defence Ministry, technical and flight acceptance procedures for the aircraft are now underway. The second Bulgarian F-16 Block 70 fighter jet arrives on Sunday at the Graf Ignatievo air base in Plovdiv, bTV reported. The aircraft has already taken off from the Royal Air Force base in Mildenhall. The aircraft took off from the USA, where it was manufactured by the manufacturer Lockheed Martin, at the end of April.
