The Sculptures Are Removed From the Entrance Roundabout to Alconchel After a Request From the Junta

The seven iron sculptures that since the beginning of July welcomed Alconchel in the roundabout of access to the municipality by the EX-107 have been removed. The works, made by the local artist Antonio Vázquez Díaz, represented different stages and elements of the life of the municipality, from childhood and work in the countryside to emigration and old age, and had become a symbol of the town.
