Galaxy S25 FE Specs Leak with a Thinner Design at the Sacrifice of Battery
GLOBAL MARKETS, JUL 31 – Samsung plans an earlier launch of the Galaxy S25 Fan Edition to maintain sales momentum following a nearly 60% preorder increase for its foldable devices, the company said.
- During its Q2 2025 earnings call, Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy S25 FE, tri-fold smartphone, and Project Moohan XR headset will arrive soon.
- Previously, Fan Edition smartphones launched in September or October, with the Galaxy S24 FE debuting in late September 2024.
- The Galaxy S25 FE features a 7.4mm thin design, 190g weight, a 4,900 mAh battery, 45W wired charging, and an upgraded selfie camera.
- Samsung says carrier partners saw nearly a 60% preorder jump for FE devices compared with last year’s models.
- Looking ahead, Huawei reports it will launch its second-gen Mate XT next month, while Samsung prepares its XR headset and tri-fold smartphone this year.
