The police introduce a so-called safety zone in Eskilstuna after the recent act of violence. The decision applies in two areas.

After one person was killed and another wounded in shootings over the weekend, police announced the establishment of “safety zones” in several boroughs -- where police are allowed to body search passersby and search vehicles, even if there is no suspicion of crime.
