Indec published a report showing a slight decline in inequality.
According to data published by Indec for the first quarter of 2025, the income gap between the richest and the poorest of the population remained after the first regressive shock, the result of devaluation and inflation, driven by Javier Milei's government.
In the Dominican Republic, the wage gap persists: women receive a lower income than men, equivalent to 18% less, doing the same job, according to statistics presented by María Elena Vásquez, president of the National Commission in Defense of Competition (ProCompetition).
