On Wednesday, Jarosław Kaczyński visited the Chancellery of the President, reports "Fakt." Karol Nawrocki's spokesman, Rafał Leśkiewicz, emphasized that the president-elect "alone decides on the personnel of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland."
Przemysław Czarnek will most likely not become head of the Presidential Chancellery. This is due to guidelines imposed by Karol Nawrocki. The president-elect does not want a political party official to lead the office. The former education minister, however, declares he has no intention of resigning from his position as vice president of the Law and Justice party (PiS).
"Even if I don't become the head of his office, I will still help Karol Nawrocki."
