It’s been labelled ‘school wars’ and dispersal orders have been put in place in some areas and police patrols stepped up after posts on TikTok and Snapchat urging students to ‘be violent’ went viral. Two weeks ago a post declared ‘war’ between eight different schools in Hackney days after two pupils were stabbed at Kingsbury High School. Schools in boroughs including Croydon, Harrow, Newham, Greenwich and Tower Hamlets have also been involved.
