Keira Knightly Set for 'Remarkable' West End Return After 15 Years
The production begins a limited run with tickets on sale now, and 25% of seats are priced between $39 and $47, producers said.
Keira Knightley will return to the London stage this autumn, leading a West End adaptation of the Oscar-winning film The Lives of Others at the Adelphi Theatre alongside Bridgerton's Luke Thompson and Game of Thrones star Stephen Dillane.
Set in 1984 East Berlin, the psychological thriller follows a writer and his actress lover as they become targets of Stasi surveillance, exploring how state power erodes private freedoms and personal thought.
Directed by Robert Icke and produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, the stage adaptation features an original score by Hamnet composer Max Richter, who collaborated closely with the 2006 film's director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck.
Tickets went on sale today with over 25% of seats available for $39 to $47, as the limited run spans from October 29 through January 9, 2027 at the Adelphi Theatre.
Knightley's return marks her first West End stage appearance in nearly 15 years; she previously starred in the 2011 revival of The Children's Hour alongside Elisabeth Moss, which was also produced by Friedman.
