This request was motivated by the "continuation of the financial deterioration" of the accounts of the two brands of the Fast Retailing France Group.
Fast Retailing France, which owns both brands, announced in June 2023 that it would consider the closure of 55 shops in Comptoir des cotonniers and Princesse Tam-Tam out of 136 in France, as well as the abolition of 304 posts.
