- Recently, Apple released iOS 26.2 Beta 1 after iOS 26.1, and the beta previews nine new features users can try soon.
- Apple says the beta exists to test features and released iOS 26.2 Beta 1 to preview new features, warning iPhone users that iOS betas are unfinished and likely buggy.
- Apple's Podcasts app adds auto-created chapters, podcast following from transcripts, and quick access to episode links, while the Freeform app gains resizable tables with '+' buttons for adding rows and columns.
- In Settings users will find Enhanced Safety Alerts with earthquake and imminent-threat options plus an Improve Alert Delivery toggle sharing approximate location with Apple, while Settings > Accessibility adds Flash for Alerts to flash the screen for alerts.
- The lock screen now offers a clock transparency slider to adjust its appearance, while Sleep Scores in the Health app are reworked so 0-40 is 'Very Low' and 96+ is 'Very High'.
