Auschwitz: Rudolf Höss's villa

The house in which Auschwitz commander Rudolf Höß lived is to become a symbol against misanthropic ideas — as part of a major new research project.

For the first time, "House 88", as Rudolf Hess' villa next to Auschwitz became known, opened its doors - where the man responsible for the murders of a million people played with his children after "a day at work".
