Haški sud bivšem šefu SDB Srbije odbio zahtjev za prijevremeno puštanje na slobodu
Međunarodni rezidualni mehanizam (IRMCT) za kaznene sudove u Den Haagu odbio je u petak zahtjev za prijevremeno puštanje na slobodu nekadašnjeg šefa Službe državne bezbjednosti (SDB) Srbije Jovice Stanišića, osuđenog za ratne zločine nad Hrvatima i Bošnjacima od 1991. do 1995. godine, javili su beogradski mediji.
The International Mechanism for Criminal Courts (IMCM) rejected the request for early release of the former head of the Serbian State Security Service (SDB) Jovica Stanišić, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison for crimes in six municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and one location in Croatia. On May 31, 2023, the court issued a final verdict, which found the SDB leaders Jovica Stanišić and Franko Simatović Frenki guilty of participating in a joint criminal enterprise.
Stanišić submitted a request for early release in March 2026, after serving two-thirds of his sentence.
