Fed up with political pressure, the head of the Economic Competition Authority, Zombor Berezvai, told Partizán how the government and NER interfere in their work in their interests.
In an interview with Partizán, Zombor Berezvai, the chief economist of the Hungarian Competition Authority, gave numerous examples of how politics influenced the operation of the Competition Authority in recent years: they were not allowed to take action against NER companies, while excessive fines were often imposed on actors considered hostile.
