The Grand Opening of The Whiteley Ushers In A New Era For Queensway

On March 31, 2025, MARK and C C Land hosted a grand opening celebration in London for the reimagined Whiteley, formerly London's first department store, now a residential and hospitality destination.
The eight-year transformation of The Whiteley, located just north of Hyde Park, has led to an ambitious £3 billion revival of the Queensway area.

The Whiteley's redevelopment includes a gross development value of over £1.5 billion and achieves an average of £3,600 per sq ft, a 200% premium over the surrounding Bayswater area, according to Savills.
The Whiteley, which is leading the way in redefining the area, will feature the UK's first Six Senses hotel, an Everyman Cinema, a Third Space gym, and a new restaurant by Pachamama Group, with 70% of its apartments sold and owners moving in since late 2024, establishing it as a transformative project.
