The Government approves the voluntary availability of veterinarians in livestock farms

In a statement, sources from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) have recalled that these requirements, now voluntary, were mandatory since the entry into force of Royal Decree 364/2023. Their voluntariness, they have added, was one of the 43 measures agreed last year with the organizations Union of Small Farmers and Cattle Farmers (UPA) and Union of Farmers and Cattle Farmers (UdU) after the agrarian mobilizations.
