State budget revenues from VAT were higher by 10.5% year-on-year (i.e. by approximately PLN 17.9 billion) and amounted to PLN 188.3 billion after July this year, the Ministry of Finance reported.
The state treasury deficit after July was PLN 156.7 billion, compared to approximately PLN 120 billion after June, the Ministry of Finance announced in a statement on Thursday. Personal income tax (PIT) revenues continue to falter, and VAT revenues have unexpectedly slowed.
The Ministry of Finance announced that the state budget deficit after July reached PLN 156.7 billion, representing 54.3% of the plan for the entire year. Revenues amounted to PLN 313.8 billion, and expenditures to PLN 470.5 billion.
