The European employment barometer changed little in the first month of this year, but fell back into negative territory, predicting uncertainty in the labor market. At the same time, in Lithuania, this indicator fell below the neutral threshold for the first time since February last year, predicting a possible deterioration of the situation in the coming months, the Employment Service announced.

The European labour market barometer was little changed in January, but it slipped back into negative territory. The leading indicator from the network of public employment services and the German Institute for Employment Research (IAB) fell by 0.1 points to 99.9.
