European Commission President Johannes van der Leyen held a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump on Sunday (July 6). The EU said on Monday (July 7) that it would strive to reach a principle agreement on EU-US trade by Wednesday (July 9).
Economicist Philipe Grilo considers the European Union a "probably scenario" and the US will reach a commercial agreement until 9 July, if Donald Trump no longer adds no clause.
