The European Union received 25.9% of world international tourism revenues in 2023, according to data published on Monday by Eurostat, the EU Statistical Office. The EU attracts one in four tourists worldwide. Poland is the first choice, but according to Eurostat data from last year, we rank ninth in the EU and tenth in Europe in terms of tourism revenue. Foreign tourists spend more on our country than we spend on foreign ones. Or at least that was the case last year. However, Poles' spending on international travel is growing much faster than Poland's revenue from foreign tourists.
