The Earthquake Was 5.1 and Was Felt From the Peninsula to Hella.

The largest earthquake in the earthquake cluster that is now moving across the Reykjanes Ridge, west of Eldey, was 5.1 in magnitude. Over 160 earthquakes have been measured in the cluster.

The earthquake that struck just before 2:30 a.m. today on the Reykjanes Ridge turned out to be larger than initially thought. The Icelandic Meteorological Office's Natural Disaster Warning Center has now reviewed the earthquake and it was 5.1 in magnitude.
