Belgian Genk has signed a three-year contract with Danish head coach Jess Thorup.
Racing Genk has a new coach. According to Danish sources, the return of Jess Thorup (56) is a fact. He succeeds Nicky Hayen, who left for Burnley. Thorup was already briefly the manager of the Limburgers in 2020.

Jess Thorup will succeed Nicky Hayen, who left for Burnley, at Racing Genk. This will be the Dane's second term in office at Genk, although the first was very short-lived.
KRC Genk appears to be getting clarity again after a turbulent period. According to Sacha Tavolieri, Jess Thorup will be the new head coach of the Limburgers. The official announcement is expected to follow within the next 24 hours.
