The Danube may peak at 700 centimetres in Budapest today

According to OVI, the decline of the Danube flood is smooth, but due to the higher than expected peak of Nagybajcs and the greater water transport from the tributaries, a higher peak and slower subsidence are expected in the lower section as well.
