Index: Czech Republic Improved Its Education Quality in the EU by Two Places to 12th Position

The Czech Republic has improved the quality of education and research, according to the Prosperity and Financial Health Index. It moved from 14th to 12th place in the European Union average, even though education spending fell from 4.9 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) to 4.5 percent. The move up the rankings was driven in particular by significant improvements in digital skills, or digital literacy.
