Tyrš House Was Opened 100 Years Ago. Masaryk Attended the Ceremony

In 1914, the Michn Palace was handed over to Prague. The army left it in 1921. The devastated palace was then purchased by the Czechoslovak Municipality of Sokolská, and the renovated Tyrš House was opened at the end of May 1925.

Prague - The celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the opening of Tyrš's House, the seat of the Czech Sokol community, will culminate tonight in Prague's Lesser Town.
