The expulsion of C8 and NRJ 12 is confirmed. On Wednesday, the Council of State approved the decision of the Arcom, last December, which withdraws from both channels their frequency TNT, announced the organization in a communiqué. In its decision, however, the Conseil d'Etat asks the Arcom to consider the possibility of a new call for applications for four frequencies which will be vacant from June onwards.
The decision of the administrative court handed down on Wednesday 19 February confirms the choice of the Arcom not to re-allocate their channels on the TNT to channels C8 and NRJ 12. The two channels will therefore stop broadcasting.
Both channels challenged the withdrawal of their TNT frequency before the highest administrative court.
