A scientific work accounts for the days of dangerous temperatures recorded in the world between May 2024 and 2025 that "would not have happened without climate change"


Climate change intensified heat worldwide over the past year, adding an additional month of extreme heat for almost half of the world’s population. In Spain, it has gone from 18 days to 48 in this situation. This is indicated by a report prepared by scientists from World Weather Attribution (WWA), Central Climate and the Climate Center of the Red Cross and Red Crescent that will be published before the Day of Action against Heat (2 June).
