City administration offices and certain other city facilities will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Some city services will have an adjusted schedule for that day or even that week.

In observance of the MLK Day holiday, the City of Birmingham offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, with the exception of police, fire, and 911.  The trash and recycling pick-up schedule will be adjusted by a day.
