Gu Guoping, a retired teacher and human rights activist from Shanghai, went to Beijing again recently to defend his rights. The "International Day of Conscience poster" he brought with him was confiscated and destroyed by the police during the security check at the Third Office of the State Council. Gu Guoping said, "The authorities are quite afraid and terrified of the International Day of Conscience set by the United Nations."
