The election campaign in Bosnia and Herzegovina officially began today and will last a whole month ahead of the General Elections, and parties and candidates are expected to behave fairly and correctly in accordance with legal provisions.
3 million 414,364 electors will be eligible to vote in the general election, while 10 candidates — 4 for Bosnian membership in the Council of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 3 for Serb membership and 3 for Croat membership — will contest 12 candidates for the presidency of Republika Srpska (RS), one of the country's two entities.
