Access to housing has become one of the main social challenges in Lanzarote and the Canary Islands as a whole. In this context, the Cabildo de Lanzarote has taken a significant step by approving this Friday at the plenary session of the Insular Corporation the free transfer to the Canary Housing Institute (ICAVI) of three plots of island ownership, as well as 42 protected dwellings located in Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza.
