Cloud cover on Sunday evening meant that the total lunar eclipse in the Netherlands was visible later than predicted. Shortly before 9 p.m., the so-called blood moon was finally visible in many places in the Netherlands.
The lunar eclipse was hidden behind cloud cover in most of Finland.

Everyone was watching this Sunday night’s astronomical event, when it was expected to see the second lunar eclipse of the year.
