On its day of parliamentary initiative, the extreme right-wing group allied with the RN succeeded in having no proposal adopted. Discussions on the abolition of provisional execution of sentences of ineligibility or mixed marriages turned into a farce.
RECIT - At the end of the night, the parliamentary initiative of the Ciottist MPs turned to the marquee between the left and the elected members of the nationalist camp. It ended with a desertion of the deputies of the nationalist camp, who were forced not to be able to examine their law to the end, aimed at combating the marriages of the clandestines.

The UDR MPs of Eric Ciotti's group, an ally of the RN, had tabled a bill to prohibit the immediate execution of the penalties of ineligibility. The text had been announced in the wake of the conviction of Marine Le Pen in the case of the assistants of MEP FN.
