The military leaders of the three countries deepen their defensive association with a treaty of political, economic and military cooperation
This came at an official ceremony organized today, during which the leadership of the third military zone of Lieutenant Colonel Arman Michel Ouédraogo was handed over. The combined coalition force includes Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger, established to promote regional cooperation in the fight against terrorism, and has an initial force of 5,000 troops charged with carrying out coordinated operations within the territory of member States.
