THC advocates, retailers vow to fight ‘cruel’ new law: ‘Alabama deserves better than this’
Alabama retailers who sell products containing the marijuana chemical THC, as well as those who buy them, say the fight is not over after Gov. Kay Ivey signed into law Wednesday a bill regulating the industry. The law lays out plans to tax, regulate, and restrict the sales of gummies, drinks, and other consumable products containing the marijuana chemical THC that is derived from hemp.
