Texas woman dies in crash on Indiana Toll Road in LaGrange County
The driver died at the scene after the box truck overturned on the Indiana Toll Road; drugs and alcohol are not suspected, police said.
- Neda Meketa, 45, of Haslet, Texas, died after a box truck crash on the Indiana Toll Road Monday night near mile-marker-120.
- For an unknown reason the westbound box truck left the roadway and entered the grassy median, overturning and coming to rest on its roof at mile-marker-120.
- The single box truck had two occupants, police said, and a male passenger was treated for minor injuries at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
- Indiana State Police said drugs and alcohol are not suspected as contributing factors, according to a police news release.
- The Indiana State Police Critical Incident Reconstruction Team is leading the investigation, assisted by LaGrange County and city police, Parkview EMS, Howe Fire Department, RMS Environmental, and the LaGrange County Coroner's Office.
