Terre Haute City Council and mayor discuss solutions for the homeless population

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — At Thursday's Terre Haute City Council meeting the issue of homelessness was front and center. The proposed and now withdrawn ordinance 12, stated that sleeping on sidewalks, streets, alleys, or within doorways were prohibited.
