Entrance to Teide National Park in Tenerife will be partially charged from next year. The most visited natural attraction in the Canary Islands is visited by over four million people a year, but some tourists are causing damage through their irresponsible behavior. This is to be compensated for by a so-called ecological tax, which will amount to up to 25 euros (over 600 crowns).
