Ten years in prison for firefighter who started five fires in Fafe

The Supreme Court of Justice confirmed the ten-year prison sentence of the 33-year-old firefighter accused of, in 2022, starting five fires in Fafe. The crimes were committed between August 2022 and July 2023. The Supreme Court also partially upheld the claim for compensation and ordered the defendant to pay the State – National Civil Protection Emergency Authority – the amount of 1895 euros.
