Temporary solution in Northern communities allows for water flow to resume - Ground Water Canada
Nunavik, Que. – A solution is in sight for a lack of available water in some of the region’s villages where pipes had frozen during a harsh winter season. A doctor a local hospital reported she had to rely on bottled water to wash her hands. The frozen pipes have meant 70,000 litres of water have been delivered daily to the hospital. A temporary pipeline is expected to be operational by the middle of May. CBC News report
