Guanajuato, Guanajuato.- The State Electoral Tribunal of Guanajuato (TEEG) ordered this July 16, 2026 to modify the call of the Electoral Institute of the State of Guanajuato (IEEG) to integrate the district and municipal councils of the 2026-2027 process. The resolution requires qualified self-adscription of indigenous applicants, replacing the simple self-adscription originally envisaged.
