Look: Michael B. Jordan Dons Tuxedo in 'Thomas Crown Affair' Poster
The reboot reimagines Thomas Crown as an anti-colonial thief recovering stolen artifacts, with Adria Arjona starring opposite Jordan.
On Wednesday, Michael B. Jordan unveiled the first poster for The Thomas Crown Affair, featuring the tagline "Revenge is a work of art." The Amazon MGM Studios film arrives in AMC Theatres on March 5, 2027.
Unlike the 1968 Steve McQueen original and 1999 Pierce Brosnan remake, this reboot reimagines Thomas Crown as a modern anti-colonial figure who conducts precision heists to recover wrongfully sold artifacts. The character moves beyond stealing for boredom.
Adria Arjona stars opposite Jordan as the investigator pursuing Crown, joined by Kenneth Branagh, Lily Gladstone, and Danai Gurira. Jon Batiste provides the original score for the IMAX-shot production.
The trailer releases today, July 29, 2026, as Jordan capitalizes on his recent Oscar win for Sinners and directorial success with Creed III. This marketing push positions the film as a career milestone.
Amazon MGM Studios granted the film a strategic March slot similar to Project Hail Mary, signaling its status as a flagship 2027 release. The studio featured it prominently during CinemaCon.
The actor takes the lead in this new version of the classic heist thriller, which will reach cinemas around the world by the hand of Amazon MGM Studios on March 5, 2027
