TCL Brings Dolby Atmos FlexConnect to 2025 QD-Mini LED TVs

Dolby Laboratories and TCL revealed that starting this summer in the U.S., TCL’s 2025 models featuring QD-Mini LED technology with advanced dimming capabilities will support Dolby Atmos FlexConnect.
TCL introduced the Z100 smart panoramic speaker as the first product compatible with FlexConnect, designed to connect wirelessly up to four speakers alongside TCL TVs for a customized Dolby Atmos experience.
Dolby Atmos FlexConnect frees users from exact speaker placement, allowing flexible speaker arrangement and sound optimization to accommodate various room layouts and user preferences.
John Couling of Dolby described the introduction of FlexConnect within TCL’s Precise Dimming Series as the beginning of a new era for customized home audio, while Chris Hamdorf from TCL highlighted that their 2025 TV lineup will include Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision features.
The expanding Dolby Atmos ecosystem includes over 100 streaming and PayTV services, nearly all major Hollywood films, top music artists, sports broadcasts, and gaming, highlighting adaptive immersive audio's growing global presence.
