The president of the Citizen Revolution (RC), Gabriela Rivadeneira, said this Friday, July 17, that the political organization will seek new alternatives to register its candidates in the sectional elections, after the Electoral Dispute Tribunal (ECT) temporarily suspends the Amigo movement, list 16, which was to serve as an electoral vehicle for the candidacies of the correismo.
The decision was announced just before the deadline for submitting candidacies, but leaders of the movement assure that they will find alternatives to compete in the regional elections in November.
