The Administrative Litigation Tribunal (TCA) ruled for months a lawsuit of DirecTV against the Executive Power and the regulator to be able to provide the Internet service to the home in Uruguay. The request of the company was formulated in January 2023 towards the last administration, headed by Luis Lacalle Pou, and the current government left the resolution of the matter to the body of the Comptroller.
