RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The trial of a Raleigh store owner who was convicted of voluntary manslaughter in the stabbing death of a customer in April 2023 has come to a close. The owner of Taz’s Supermarket, Taiseer Zarka, is set to spend more than 5 years in prison, according to the sentencing given by Judge Keith Gregory shortly before noon on Thursday.
