Ukrainian drones and missiles set fire to a power plant in Oryol and energy facilities in Vladimir overnight, Russian independent channel Astra reported. The attack in Vladimir was also confirmed by the governor of the Vladimir region.
Explosions were reported in several places in Russia overnight. One attack was reportedly aimed at an oil facility far inland – in the southern Ural Mountains, about 1,400 kilometers from Moscow.
The Ukrainian armed forces continue their attacks on targets of the Russian oil industry in the hinterland. The authorities report several attacks. On videos and pictures larger fires can be seen.
Russian regions Oriol and Vladimir were attacked on the night of 5 November according to local authorities. Moscow officials accused Ukraine of this new wave of energy infrastructure attacks.
